This is a historic recording of the Texas Aggie Band. Judging by the code on the original transcription, it was probably produced in 1958. The band is under the baton of legendary director Lt. Col. E.V. Adams '29.
The Singing Cadets and The Aggieland Orchestra are conducted by Bill (Pop) Turner. Songs included are, of course, The Aggie War Hymn, and the signature piece "The Spirit of Aggieland". Also included are "The Twelth Man" and "I'd Rather be a Texas Aggie". "Auld Lang Syne", "Silver Taps", "The National Anthem", "The U.S. Army March and "This is My Country" round out the musical program. The final track is all of the Aggie Yells. If your blood runs maroon, you have to have this historic album now presented on CD.
