If you were in Radio in the 1970s you'll probably remember this! Each year, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) released a record of specialty jingles to promote National Radio Month in May. The 1971 theme was "Radio - The Greatest Sound on Earth! The 10 cuts on this CD are taken directly from the vinyl record that was distributed to NAB member stations, complete with the vintage '70s style artwork! The CD comes packaged in a Jewel Case with original artwork, production notes and personnel. You just might recognize some of the studio musicians who went on to other projects! The tracks represent the four popular radio formats of the era, POP/ROCK, COUNTRY & WESTERN, SOUL, and FOLK ROCK. They have that distinctive, hi-energy, high compression sound of 70s radio, with jingle singers crooning about the joys of radio. And it was joyful! If you were in radio then, or know someone who was, spread the word. Your total price will be $9.00 with shiping. Sent via USPS First Class Mail. Our storefront won't handle variable shipping rates. Texas residents will have state sales tax added. Thanks!
